9.5.22
This week we are continuing with our work on fractions in Maths.
Unfortunately, our cricket lesson this morning was cancelled, but we discussed the village trees and what a tree planted in Victorian times might be able to tell us if it could speak! We will be writing our stories later this week for the Historical Society competition.
Please remember PE kits for both Mondays and Wednesdays this term as we have the extra cricket session on Mondays.
In Science we have been learning about friction and today we looked at the advantages and disadvantages of friction, then went to see which surface in school has most and least friction.
Sponsored Bounce!
The children enjoyed the sponsored bounce! We have very impressive, bouncy children in Silver Birch, well done!
