We've had an excellent start to Term 2, and we have been very impressed with how the children have been working so hard this week. They really have settled back into the school routine with great attitudes. The first afternoon of Zoom parent meetings were successful, and it was really lovely to hear how happy the children are to be in school.
This first week we have been focusing on multiples and length in Maths. We have begun looking at non-fiction texts in English, with our focus being on information leaflets. During the GPS lessons, children have been using past and present tenses and their different forms. We've started our Sikhism unit in RE which the children seemed very curious about. In Science we have begun our states of matter chemistry unit. Hockey is the sport in PE this term, and in computing the children have started to design a game to create using the Scratch programme. Overall, a very busy week as usual!
