What a fantastic Sports Day we enjoyed on Wednesday! The weather was very kind to us, and, for the first time, many of us enjoyed a picnic on the field with our families after all the games had finished. Congratulations go to Red Team for being the overall winners, but congratulations must also go to three of Oak Class for winning the sports cups. These are:

Erin - the football cup

Gabriy'el - the girls' sports cup

Arthur - the boys' sports cup

However, each and every one of the class must be very proud of themselves for trying their best in every event and supporting each other throughout the morning.

Congratulations also go to several of the class this week who won Gold Awards for exceptional pieces of work in RE. Well done to Arthur, Baptiste, Benjamin, Gabriy'el and Joe H.

It must have been Gaby's lucky week as, in today's celebration assembly, she was announced as the Year 6 Tree Writing Competition set by the Elham Historical Society. Although they had to pick winners, they were very impressed with the high standard of writing across the school. Well done everyone for your super creative writing!
