The children's building skills are improving! Great teamwork today to build this giant straw house!

The hardest house to build appears to be the straw house.

We are looking at the UK, the countries that are in it and the seas that surround it.  As an introduction we learned how to use the directions north, south, east and west in a board game.

We have been comparing lengths and heights.  The children found it surprisingly tricky!  The main focus was to have all the objects against a straight line in order to compare them accurately.

The children are getting very proficient at counting in 2s.  We turned it into a ball game.
