Star of the week
This weeks 'star of the week' is Ruben.
Ruben you have had a fantastic week. You have contributed in all our class discussions this week and in English you worked hard to find out some of the features of non-fiction texts. Well done.
Computing
In computing this week the children have been learning the parts of a laptop. They all logged on and played a star reader challenge.

In English we have been looking at the features of non-fiction texts (e.g. title, contents page, headings, index and glossary). We have been looking at lots of non-fiction books and finding out how these differ to fiction books.

In maths we have been comparing different amounts and using the key vocabulary 'I have more/fewer blocks than you' and I have a greater/smaller number of blocks than you'. We have also worked on one more/one less.
