Science Day!
The children enjoyed a "Science Carousel" of activities across the school - we learned about how animals are adapted to their lives in the ocean, how some coins are magnetic, why water appears to "climb" paper, what we should (and shouldn't) flush, and how bees communicate by dancing! A busy, fun and informative day!
The children enjoyed starting a new project in Art! They practised their cutting skills today to make a ‘drawing using scissors’ or a collage. This was inspired by a piece of art by Henri Matisse.
They then prepared a piece of card covered in wax crayon – to be continued next week!
