WOW! What a fantastic week we've had in Silver Birch class! The children have come back ready and eager to learn and we've done lots of great lessons! In English we've started a new book: Jim, a cautionary tale and in Guided Reading we're looking at a non-fiction book: Africa, Amazing Africa. In Maths we're learning about mass and capacity before heading back for some more fractions!! In History we've started to learn about the Victorian era.

The photos this week show the children working in groups for PSHE. This term we're learning about Economic well-being; I was super impressed with the knowledge the children already have about making good spending choices and thinking about the impact on our environment and world!
