Week 1

We've had some lovely treats this week.

On Monday we were so lucky to have the Critters visit us. This was thanks to Miss Knight winning a raffle prize. Tiffany brought in her animals for us to see and even to hold. The children were amazing and held snakes and lizards and Max the tortoise.

Our learning theme this week has been Spring. I think we had a couple of days earlier this week where we could get outside and enjoy our outdoor area again.

We went on a Spring walk and did some super chalk observational drawings of what we found. They are displayed in the hall for everyone to enjoy.

We also had a dance workshop on Friday morning which was great fun. The children learnt a dance routine to a Matilda song. They followed instructions really well.

In maths we are now beginning to work within 20.

Our phonics is consolidating the digraphs we have learnt and blending ccvc and cvcc words.

Merit Badges  - Jacob and Alice for having good ideas about what makes a good friend.
