In Science this term the children are learning about what materials toys are made of.  This fits in nicely with our topic 'A Toy's Story'.  The children learned lots of new words to descirbe different materials, took toys out of a treasure chest and decided what materials the toys were made of and then went outside on a scavenger hunt to find out what materials the different pieces of playground equipment are made of.

Our learning today was to look at "What makes a Good Listener" and "Why is it important to be a good listener". The children really enjoyed playing a range of different listening games and realised how important it was to listen well so that we could follow the instructions given.
