This week the children have been learning the concept of 'one less' in maths and, although they have mostly grasped the concept, they are confusing it with 'one more', which we were focusing on last week. We need to enlist your support!  Try asking them how many forks are on the table, then get them to tell you what one more or one less is. Repeat with other random objects on the table, in the bath, etc. Thank you!

We have learned about sounds in Science and the children have lots of new vocabulary: ear drum, inner/outer/middle ear, vibration and sound waves.  

In English the children are making booklets based on 'The artist who painted a blue horse'.  This will be the first book they have written!

The children are excited to do their Harvest Festival Song in church on Friday.  They have made leaf crowns too.  

Congratulations to all the children for their amazing performance in church for our Harvest Festival. You were all amazing and sang your little hearts out!
