In maths the children had to use as many different manipulatives as they could think of to make the number 20.

The next step was to find numbers to 20 on a number line.  They even had a go on an empty number line!

The children have investigated how the wheels move on a car.  They have worked with fixed axles, moving axles, fixed wheels and moving wheels and tried attaching them to the chasssis.

Today we learnt all about a Viking Longboat, what they were used for, how they were made and how many years ago. We then had a go at being a Viking and travelling in our very own Longboat. The children decorated the sides of the ship with excellent Viking patterns and shields.
