We have had such a fun time this morning at 3 Hills and one of our teams won!
Maths
This week we have been comparing numbers using > < and =.
The reception children have been finding out about the concept of zero and sorting pictures cards with different representations.
The reception children have been reading The Night Pirates by Peter Harris. We designed our own treasure maps and have started to make our own treasure chests in preparation for a treasure hunt on Friday!
Science
The Grumpy Wizard sent a message to us today, he had spilt a potion all over the floor and could we advise him on what material would be best to use to clear it up. The children spent the afternoon testing a range of different materials to see which were absorbent and non-absorbent. We decided the cloth and the sponge were the best materials for the job!
