Class Assembly

The children were AMAZING in our class assembly. Such confident acting and fabulous singing!

Topic

Our topic for this term is comparing people from the past. We are looking at the lives of two significant women (Rosa Parks and Emily Davison). Today the children had to look at a variety of clues to work out what Rosa Parks did to make her famous. 

English

We have started reading our text for this term (The Bear Under The Stairs by Helen Cooper). The children found out what the lumpy object was under the furry blanket!

PE

The children enjoyed cricket and rounders today!

English 

The children came in to see something very strange on the floor. The lumpy, furry mass was covered in a variety of signs. The children had to sort the signs into piles for questions, statements, exclamations and commands. They then had to write statements about what they knew and then questions about what they would like to know. 

Maths

We are learning about time in Maths. Today we focussed on o'clock and half past.
