Design and Technology

The children have been investigating how the shape of a structure affects its strength. The children had to construct their own tubes and then test their structure’s ability to resist destruction by applying an increasing number of books. We then combined all the cylinders together to make a class superstructure and tested it. It held over 155 books! Some of the children then had a go at lying on the structure too. 

Music

The children enjoyed participating in a music workshop this morning.
