Captain Wonderweb and the Esteem Machine visited our school today for an immersive adventure. 

Art

The children have made collage lanterns using the collage materials they prepared last week. The colour and texture looks really effective - what amazing artwork!

PE

The children have been practising their scoring in lacrosse today. 

Today we started our next scheme of writing around the book Ocean Meets Sky (by The Fan Brothers). The children were very excited and intrigued by the huge trunk that arrived in class labelled 'Grandad's Stuff.' We opened the trunk to find all sorts of amazing things belonging to Grandpa, including a book titled 'Grandpa's stories for Finn.' The children had to use the clues from the trunk to predict the relationship between the two characters, what their relationship might have been like, what things might they have done together and where might they have lived.
