This week the children are innovating the text they learnt by heart last week.  They are changing it to make it 'theirs'.  We have made a new whole class text, the colours and animals being chosen by everyone together.

Children are encouraged to say how they are feeling at different stages during the day.

At this early stage in the term the children are getting plenty of choosing time as they transition into year 1.  This will be gradually reduced.

The children have been learning about different devices which have computers in them.  To consolidate their understanding they played a fun computer game!

In Topic we are continuing to look at maps. We have used directional language to navigate our way around the school as we were lost and unsure how to find our way back to Hazel class. Thankfully we had listened well to instructions on how to read a map so made it back in one piece!
