Welcome to Peake class - years 5 and 6!

We have had a fantastic first week back in Peake class.  It was good to have the year 5s back as one year group, and we wish to say a huge warm welcome to Kaladin in year 5 and Naoise in year 6 who have joined the class from other schools (and country!).  The children all looked very smart and have already proven to be excellent role models being the eldest in the school now.  We did lots of organisational jobs on Wednesday; sorted out jobs, year 6 responsibilities, timetable, trays, equipment etc.  

We all shared what we did in the summer holidays - good and bad, lovely holidays, cars breaking down and doing absolutely nothing sometimes!  We shared what we are looking forward to for the year ahead including the residential, trips, new teachers and new friends.

We look forward to seeing many of you at the Meet the Teacher session next Wednesday in class, even if you've met us many times, you are still welcome to come and see our new classroom, and find out some class information.
