Weekly Overview Wednesday-Friday
We've had a wonderful first full week in Peake class. The year 6 children sat their Kent Test on Thursday and worked really hard. Best wishes for those sitting the Shepway or Dover tests on Saturday. We began our new book in English, 'The Odyssey', an ancient Greek epic tale that is about 3000 years old. Full of battles, monsters and heroes - we cannot wait! In reading we started our poetry book, 'On the Move' about migrants and refugees which has started some really interesting conversations. We wrote some health questionnaires in science to assess the health in Peake class. We found out that we are very good at drinking water and eating fruit and vegetables, but spend a little too much time on devices!
