This week we have continued with our work in fractions and have noticed how so many concepts within this unit connect together, for example we need to find equivalent fractions to add and subtract fractions that have different denominators.  In English we have started to write our persuasive pitches to persuade why the monuments that we have designed for the Windrush Generation should be erected.  We learnt more about the four seasons in Science from the learning we did about it in KS1.  We learnt more details such as how it's the Earth's tilt that causes them to occur and be different, as well as how in Australia they have opposite seasons to us due to being the opposite side of the world, and being on a different hemisphere.
