What a fabulous last week (of a very long term!) we have had! Christmas Lunch on Wednesday was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting and eating with the children and sharing our Christmas traditions. We have made christmas cards and made winter crafts (pom pom snow men and stained glass windows!). On Friday morning we made our Christingles (do make sure to ask your children what each part represents). After break, we had a christmas party and played games including pass the parcel!

We wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and hope that you all have a restful break and that the children return rejuvenated and ready for more learning next term!

We have started our final week of the year with a busy couple of days...

In English we have read the poem The Christmas Pine by Julia Donaldson and we are very much looking forward to performing it for the whole school tomorrow....

In Maths we have finished our topic on Area and done an end of unit assessment , which all the children did very well in - so if you're buying a new carpet, ask your child to help work out the area!

This afternoon we got crafty with some forest school ideas and the children have made a lovely array of hanging decorations - I hope they will display them proudly at home!
