Welcome back to term 6 and the last term of the year.

In maths we are continuing to work with decimals, in particular adding and subtracting them ensuring the decimal point and the digits are all lined up correctly in the right column.  In English we finished publishing our leaflets which look fantastic and so realistic.  On Wednesday we learnt about a murder that took place in London, which was the hook for our new text; High Rise mystery.  We became secret sleuths and have started to investigate all the clues and evidence that has been found so far.  In science we are continuing to do work with materials, and this week we investigated the hardness of different materials by completing a scratch test and deciding how trustworthy our results were when the variables were difficult to control and measure.
