Week beg: 27.01.25
This week we finished our maths unit on fractions and we were very impressed with the children's scores on their end of unit assessment. We have moved on to looking at angles and again, the children have shown great understanding of the concept. We started a new text in english - The Tempest by William Shakespeare. We've met some interesting characters and completed detailed and effective descriptions for a tempest! In RE we role played scenarios based on Jesus' greatest commandments about loving God and our neighbours. We explored how situations would look if people followed these rules, and how it would be if they didn't. From our French learning of days of the week, months and numbers, we can now say and write what the date is in French. We discovered famous landmarks of India, where they are and why they were built, including the love (and tragic) story of the Taj Mahal.
Have a lovely sunny weekend,
Mrs Hall and Miss Laslett
