Week beg: 03.02.25
This week we continued to work on using angles in maths. The children loved measuring and drawing their own angles using the protractors. In english we continued with our Tempest playscripts, starting to consider the features of a playscript. Some of the language is very tricky, but the children have started to write in a Shakespearean style without even being told to do so! In RE we learnt about the inspirational work of Desmond Tutu, how he used his Christian faith to work tirelessly for freedom and justice for the people of South Africa. In Geography we learnt about the stunning artwork of Rangoli and the cultures behind the beautiful works. We started to create our own designs using geometric patterns, flowers, birds and Hindu gods. We learnt to say the day we were born in French, consolidating all that we have learned this term.
Please don't forget our Indian banquet with Silver Birch on Monday - homecooked or shop bought will all be appreciated.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Hall and Miss Laslett
