This week has been assessment week. Each day the children have completed a test to show their attainment for the end of the year.  They did three maths, one reading and a GPS test.  The children didn't complain, were very compliant and worked hard to complete them.  We have continued to write our detective stories which are coming along nicely.  The children are so inspired by the High Rise Mystery story that we're reading in class.  We have been doing lots of rehearsals for the Lion King production.  Everything is coming together with the singing, dancing and getting the costumes ready.  We're very excited for this in two weeks.  We met our new class and teacher on Wednesday and decided the new name of our class, which is Tim Peake.  Mr Magliocco wanted us to choose a British inspirational figure, so we shared some choices and then did a vote.  We'll be learning lots about Peake next year and all of his amazing achievements.  We started some artwork that will be our first display in our new classroom.
