We have had a busy week in Potter Class! It's December! We enjoyed some time decorating the Christmas Tree and making paperchains and decorations for the classroom. Each day one child will open our advent calendar and choose a Christmas Tree Kindness activity that we then all try to act upon throughout the day!
In English we have started a new class book: Wolves by Emily Gravett. The children had to find the book, hidden in the book corner first and see if there were any other stories about wolves. We have spent time this week using adjectives to describe wolves and separating fact from fiction! We used our new visualiser to look at our paired work!
In Maths we have started a new topic: Shape. The children have enjoyed conducting shape experiments using straws to create sides and count vertices.
