We have had a fabulous morning at 3 Hills and one of our teams won!
Science
The Grumpy Wizard sent a message to us today, he had spilt a potion all over the floor and could we advise him on what material would be best to use to clear it up. The children spent the afternoon testing a range of different materials to see which were absorbent and non-absorbent. We decided the cloth and the sponge were the best materials for the job!
In English this week, the children have been planning and writing a sequel to our current class book: Me and You. The children made a story plan, thinking about character, setting and plot. They are doing very well at writing in sentences using adjectives to make their writing engaging and interesting!
In Maths we have completed our unit on addition and subtraction. Next week we are moving on to learning about shape.
