Today the children carried out a taste test to see if they could identify which foods were sweet, salty, sour or bitter. They then recorded their findings in a table using some amazing descriptive words. Everyone couldn't wait to taste the cocoa powder as it looked so chocolatey and smelt delicious. We had some brilliant faces when they realised how bitter it actually is!! laugh

In English, we have continued to read our story: The Journey Home. We finished the story and sequenced pictures to show what had happened. The children chose their own set of endangered animals and are planning to write their own version of the story!

In Maths this week we have continue to learn about place value. We have been comparing and ordering numbers and using the greater than / less than symbol to show our understanding. The children enjoyed ordering these numbers together!

Everyday between Phonics and English the children in Potter Class enjoy a movement break. This week we have really enjoyed a song called 'Shake Break'!
