Wow! I can hardly believe we're at the end of term 1! I am incredibly proud of Potter Class! They have settled so well into Year 2 and are doing so well in their learning! I hope you all have a good rest and enjoy half term next week!
In English this week, the children have been writing about Autumn! They have been using nouns, verbs and adjectives to describe Autumn scenes.
In Maths, we have moved on the learning about addition and subtraction. We have been practising number bonds to 10 and 20. The children worked in pairs to find fact families for number bonds to 20. We have also been looking at related number facts and using our number bonds to 10 to deduce number bonds to 100 using 10's.
