We have made pancakes to celebrate Shrove Tuesday and learned about how it originated.  The children were all invited to toss their own pancake.  They were really good at it!

We've had a fantastic book day. We wrote our first book review and made bookmarks. A big thank you to Aleksandra's mum who made us all a delicious cookie.

Today we talked about what we should do if we get lost and how this might make us feel. We had some very sensible answers from the children about what they would do if this were to happen to them.

What fun we had with the drums!! The children experimented by making different sounds with a single instrument today. They then had to listen to the story of the Three Little Pigs and choose what sound and how loud this should be throughout different parts and for different characters. I think they all enjoyed being the Big Bad Wolf the best, I wonder why .....
