The penultimate week of term finds us finishing off a lot of things! In RE last week the children watched a clip of Moses and the plagues and how he freed the Israelites from the Egyptians. This week we read the Bible story and the children acted out the plagues.
In Science we recapped on materials and watched a video on how animals make their homes out of natural materials, before getting into groups and creating a home for an animal. One group paused to discuss what they would need, so well done them. All of the homes let the water in apart from one. Special mention goes to Albert who made a really good wigwam foundation on which to build his group's house!
Maths
The children have been working really hard in maths, learning how to unitise, looking at the value of coins and ordering them corectly.

We have a great time following a recipie for Challah bread. It was very yummy! See if your children can remember why it is so significant.
