The whole school is celebrating colour this term so the children have used crayons to create leaf patterns in unusual colours.

In maths the children have been getting their heads round a wealth of words and expressions in order to compare numbers and quantities: more/fewer/the same/greater than/less than and equal to!

This week in computing the children have tried to use the keyboard to write a simple sentence.  

Forest Fun!

We had a go at drawing using charcoal from the forest school fire this week. We have a range of drawings including the inside of a log, fir cones, leaves, berries and sticks. 

Maths

We made our very own crocodiles to help with our understanding of greater than, less than and equal to in maths. To begin with the children had to look at different or equal quantities and choose which of their crocodiles they would need to put in the middle. We moved on to numerals today which was a bit trickier but we all gave it a really good go!
