In our final science lesson about materials we investigated fabrics to see how waterproof they were and decided which fabric would make the best hat.  The children also thought about what clothes would be suitable for a gymnast and a lolly pop person to wear and why.

We have decorated our pull along toys with pipe cleaners, pompoms, googly eyes and paper!  Look how well they work!

Viking Day!

We are having an absolutely wonderful Viking Day! So far we have made and painted our shields, cooked our viking bread and made our swords. This afternoon we will be sailing our longboat and having a battle! More photos to follow....
