Today we looked at The Story of Easter (The Triumphal Entry). The children created their own palm leaves to lay on the streets of Jerusalem.
We then read a poem called 'The Donkey' and talked about how the donkey must have felt and acted out the poem.

Science Day!
What a fantastic day we have had. We have made rainbows, looked at what we can flush down the toilet, Taken part in yoga, had a go at a bee waggle dance and investigated magnets. Phew!

Today we learnt all about the emergency services and how to call for help if needed. The children all knew they should ring 999 which was excellent! We looked at different scenarios, what we thought was an emergency and what wasn't and which service we would require. At the end we role played an emergency and practised ringing 999.
