Welcome back to school and term 6!
The children are learning positional and directional vocabulary this week in maths.
In Art we are examining Andy Goldsworthy's sculptures. We tried our own indoor ones.
A splash of colour at the end of the day!
We had a lovely afternoon at forest school. The children learnt all the rules today and why we need to have these. They were then set the challenge of making a house for the beanie babies that had to have 2 levels. We finished off our wonderful afternoon with hot chocolate and marshmallows!
We have continued using our positional language in maths. Today the children worked together and used the language "above" and "below". They worked together to give positional instructions to make a tower, it was trickier than we thought!
