Silver Birch Class
Term 1
Welcome to Silver Birch class page. This is where we will be posting information about learning in class as well as photos and examples of work.
The children have had a great couple of days so far this year and have shown they are ready to learn and do their best. They have produced some amazing writing about the summer (of course!) and have had fun with self portraits and making positivity jars. We also discussed dealing with different emotions and decided on class rules. The children impressed us with their thoughtful and respectful discussions.
Please find below a link to spellings for this term. A spelling test will be taken each Tuesday and new words sent home on Wednesday on a sheet to aid practice. This is for use at home and does not need to be returned to school.
Reading records will be sent home next week and should be returned every Monday.
If your child would like a snack in the morning please send them in with a piece of fruit for them to have at break time.
