This week we practised using the bus stop method in maths, ensuring that our times tables were accurate and that we exchanged correctly with the remainders.  We then started our fractions unit, discussing what a fraction is.  We wrote amazing character descriptions about the two main characters in our text, Goodnight Mister Tom.  We used effective sentence starters and wrote about appearance, background, behaviour, feelings and emotions.  On Monday we had a visit from the Dogs Trust charity who spoke with us about how the behave around dogs and how to safely treat them.  In Computing we planned and began to film our videos.  We thought about the setting and background, the techniques of filming that we had learnt and wrote scripts to follow.  In French we used days, numbers and months to state what the date is.
