A bit early to be thinking about Christmas, but the PTA have asked for classes to create cards which you will be able to buy, so the children have been getting creative today!
We have been practising our song for Harvest Festival!

In topic this week we have been looking at where we live and discussing the village of Elham. The children had lots of ideas about how a village is different from a town including "Villages always have hundreds of pubs".
The children then went away and drew a picture of Elham and what they thought was an important feature of the village.
In our PSHE lesson today we were looking at healthy and unhealthy foods. The children were really good at sorting out the different food cards into two categories. We talked about how fruit is a nice healthy snack and made some delicious fruit kebabs, yum!
