Star of the Week

This weeks Star of the Week is Chloe. You have had such a good week Chloe - you have great focus for learning this week and you have shared some super knowledge and understanding during our class discussions. Keep it up Chloe!

Playdoh Friday with our teddy bears!

In today’s maths lesson, we used a variety of concrete resources to build and represent different 2-digit numbers. We identified the number of tens and ones in each number.

In Topic we have been finding out more facts about China. We were lucky enough to try some chinese biscuits. They were delicious!

In PE the children have been practicing their passing skills. 

In guided reading today the children had to think about all they know of Eric (the main character in our story) and predict what he may have left the family in the pantry. The children discussed this and generated some amazing ideas about the things he might have left. We then read the end of the story revealing the delights Eric left in the pantry - a magical ending!

In DT the children are continuing to look at objects and understand how they move. This week the children experimented making different linkage systems.
