Monday's RE lesson - Discussing how having a guide to help us makes things easier for us. We used a maze to walk around blindfolded to explain this idea. We then spoke about God being a guide for Christians to help make their lives better.
Fintan impressed us with his guitar skills, he has been learning the James Bond theme tune. Mrs Glass said that he is a rock star now!

We've had a fun filled busy week doing a variety of different activities. We completed some blindfolded activities in RE, did a diamond 9 activity in Topic looking at the importance of the River Nile in Ancient Egyptian times. Some of us found the rounding in maths tricky, but after the second lesson we started to find strategies to help us and understood more about the concept. We began our new text in English; The Secrets of the Sun King, based on our Topic. Already, it's full of suspense and keeping us wanting to read on. We had a go at writing using suspense and making our writing intrigue the reader. Pizzas were made, the treat that Immanu'el chose for getting over 60 raffle tickets the week before last. We ate them whilst watching a video about space during our science lesson. We have been practising for our Harvest performance and have really enjoyed learning the song.
