Trip to Dover Transport Museum
Topic
Today we looked at the 'Wright Brothers' and the invention of the first aeroplane. We then had a go at designing our own planes and seeing if they could fly. We had great fun!!

Maths
We have been looking at capacity and volume this morning. We used a range of different containers and put them in order of capacity. We then checked to see if we were right by counting how many cups of water were needed to fill up each one. The children soon learned that the tallest one doesn't always have the biggest capacity.

Ducklings!!
A lovely afternoon was spent with Willow Class, the ducklings were introduced to the water for the first time and we all had fun watching them zoom around and peck our toes!
