The Three Billy Goats Gruff
Using the traditional story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff this week has taken our learning to all sorts of different places. We have looked at some incredible bridges including the Millau bridge in France, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Sidney Harbour Bridge, and also some important ones in the UK. We have retold the story on story maps, role play and in PE. We have also made some fantastic bridges ourselves using a set criteria, and using the indoor and outdoor resources. We now know how long the bridge needs to be by measuring with standard units of measure. Great job to the trolls when we did some 'hot seating', the voices were amazing and even a little bit scary.
