This week the Year 5s attended a Police open day in Maidstone and took part in a number of fun and informative activities.  Back at school we have been using up to 7 digit numbers in maths and the values of their digits.  In English we started the Stone Age Boy, and wrote some predictions and dialogues.  We completed a timeline of history since the dinosaurs, and revisited the concept cards in RE.  In French, we learnt how to say items from the classroom.  On Friday the children enjoyed their first music session with Mr Foreman and his guitar!  They also started the science unit, looking at different life stages.  It's been a great full first week back; the children have been full of enthusiasm.
