Our learning this week has been themed around The Three Little Pigs

For our English learning we have repeated the story of the Three Little Pigs and ordered some key moments. We have written words such as pig and pot using the sounds we have learnt.

We have continued to look at numbers to 10 and to think about weighing and words such as heavier and lighter.

We are continuing to learn our sounds and have introduced e, u, b

We had great fun at Forest School trying to build a house made of sticks.

For RE this term our question is - Why do we perform Nativity plays at Christmas time?

We looked at some of the important characters and items in the story to begin to answer that question.

The children had some great ideas and we are beginning to have some understanding of the birth of Jesus and how that links to Christmas for us.
