Maths

This week we have been looking at counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. The children have been working with partners and seeing how high they can count to using these different multiples. They have really impressed us!

English

We started our new story "The Tiger Who Came to Tea" The children came up with some brilliant actions for our Talk 4 Writing story map. It seems to be a very popular book that the children know well.

Topic

Our new topic will be looking at seaside holidays. We will be finding out all about what it was like to visit the seaside in the olden days and how different things were back then. Today we looked at a few pictures from the Victorian times, the children were shocked that you had to keep all your clothes on and laughed when they saw the bathing huts! Here are some pictures of what the seaside means to us.

Dance Workshop.

We were very lucky to have another visit from the lovely Laura today. The children took part in a "Matilda" workshop and thoroughly enjoyed being silly and pulling funny faces as we danced to "Revolting Children".
