Science

This term we are continuing to focus on Animals inclduing humans. Today we investigated the effect of exercise on our bodies (warm skin, thirsty, heart rate increased, breathing). The children took part in a dance routine and discovered that exercise makes the heart work harder and is also an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. We explored the idea of warming up muscles we took part in a warm up led by one of the children from our class. 

PE

It is hockey this term for PE. Today the children had a go at dribbling and tried not to touch the cones. 

English

We began a new English unit of work focussing on the book Tadpole's Promise by Jeanne Willis. They read examples of promises and had to predict who these would belong to. 

Topic

We have been finding out some fascinating facts about The Great Wall of China and the children made these brilliant pop out pictures!
