Good afternoon everyone

Unbelievably we have reached the end of yet another term. This year has just flown past and now we only have one term left at Elham School before we move on to our new secondary schools. But what a term we have planned for you, with lots of fun and creative activities to take part in. We will begin Term 5 with Arts Week where we will have the opportunity to try lots of different arts and crafts, including drumming and dance workshops as well as a visit from a local artist, Shane Record, who will be painting for us 'live'.

This week in class we have completed our writing pieces about a tree which will be entered into a competition to find the best in each year group - I wonder who our winner will be? We also completed our country websites in Computing and began a new until on Spreadsheets. This will help us with a project we will be working on during Term 6 - Theme Park Maths. Watch this space for more information.

Of course we cannot talk about the end of this month and the beginning of the next without mentioning the queen's Platinum Jubilee. Each class had created a royalty-themed scarecrow for the annual village competition and Oak class decided to make theirs to look like Britannia. Have a look below for a photo.

Whatever you are doing for the Platinum Jubilee next week, we hope you all have a fantastic time and that you return to school full of stories to share with the class.

Have fun and stay safe!
