The children have worked hard on partitioning 2 digit numbers and adding them this week, as well as practising times tables on the computers. We have used Top Marks which have games that they all enjoy. They are all looking forward to practising at home!

All of the children are working towards our Bronze Badge:
Test 1 is 2, 5, 10 x tables
Test 2 is 3, 4, 6 x tables
Test 3 is 7, 8, 9 x tables
after Bronze we have Silver, which tests division as well as multiplication and all the x tables upto 12.
In English we have continued with our story Stone Age Boy and have been looing at word types and building our own paragraphs.
In computing this term we are looking at digital devices and this week we began comparing digital and non-digital art. On Monday the children used the Purple Mash Paint program to create their own version of cave art. Using a mouse to paint was quite tricky for some of us! Then on Thursday we used paper, charcoal and chalk to do the same thing. We will be discussing the benfits and difficulties of each method next week.
