Our curriculum intent for Religious Education learning

It is our intent that through the Religious Education curriculum we provide allows for opportunities that engage, inspire, stimulate and encourage pupils through challenging, dynamic and relevant lessons and activities.   

Pupils will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to answer high-level questions and explore different religious beliefs, values and traditions.

Pupils will be prepared for the responsibilities and experiences of life in modern Britain and a multi-cultural society. As a Church of England school, we aim for our children to live lives today and tomorrow rooted in Christian love and respect.

Parents have the right to withdraw their child from Religious Education lessons.  However, parents with a concern regarding the RE policy at this school are asked to confer with the Headteacher before withdrawing their child.
